Common themes are all around us.
Sometimes they just take a while for us to realize. They’re the context for personal growth. Caroline is laying that down on her newest single, appropriately titled, “Common Theme”. The LA-based singer-songwriter, and recent USC alum, had a very busy 2019, rolling out an EP and a double single, and she’s already back for more. It’s an absolute vibe, just in time for sunny spring weather, and C-Heads is happy to bring you an exclusive first listen below:

“‘Common Theme’ is essentially about me being a hopeless romantic. Some might say I’m a bit too trusting when it comes to love and 9 times out of 10, it has gotten me in trouble.”
“‘Common Theme’ is essentially about me being a hopeless romantic. Some might say I’m a bit too trusting when it comes to love and 9 times out of 10, it has gotten me in trouble. Avoiding red flags and giving the wrong boys the benefit of the doubt has been a recurring theme in my life. In order to hammer the concept into my brain that I shouldn’t be doing that, I thought perhaps I’d write a song about it. So alas, here is my vibey, alternative message to myself that If I truly want to attain the sort of love I so desire, I need to break the common theme of my love life and stop going for guys that are all wrong for me.”
